COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan

Due to the national shutdown announced by the President on Monday 23 March, Walkers will implement its remote working contingency plans this week, and our office doors at The Terraces will close temporarily as of Friday 27 March 2020, at least until 30 April 2020.

We have put measures in place to ensure that all directors and professional staff will have remote access to our systems (including email) and be available on their mobile telephone numbers.  Calls to their direct office telephone numbers will be forwarded to their home landlines or mobile phones.  We provide the details below.

However, disruption of telecommunications nationally remains a possibility and we would request that you bear with us and, in event of exigency, try all alternative means of communicating with us.

We are awaiting official communication but it seems that Courts, other tribunals, deeds offices and Master’s offices will be (mostly) closed.  To what extent our colleagues at other law firms will continue to function is at present uncertain.  Therefore delays in the completion of all legal transactions and legal steps are to be expected.

In these difficult circumstances, we will endeavour to remain ready and able to provide legal services to you as far as and for as long as possible.

We wish you and yours every success in surviving this pandemic and its effects.
